DE Harold Landry of Fayetteville, NC landed offers in the last couple of days from North Carolina and Indiana. He has been committed to Boston College but continues to look at USC and Clemson among others. He visited both before his commitment in early April.
Auburn Friday offered rising freshman (class of 2017) QB Jake Bentley of Byrnes Friday while he was at camp. Bentley is the son of Byrnes coach Bobby Bentley. He has a brother who is a quarterback at Rutgers and another brother who is Byrnes’ starting quarterback and who is committed to Old Dominion. Jake Bentley camped at Clemson earlier this week and is getting interest from the Tigers.
