USC Thursday night offered DB Jayvaughn Myers of Dade City, FL. Some of his other offers include Auburn, Alabama, Florida and Florida State. He’s a former Florida commitment.
2017 QB and catcher Tyrus Cook of Lake Butler, FL lists USC among his top three along with Florida and Ohio State. He attends CJ Spiller’s former high school.
USC Thursday offered DE Jonathan Kongbo of Arizona Western JC. He’s currently a Tennessee commitment. Some of his other offers include Auburn, Oregon, Louisville, Mississippi State, Alabama, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Arizona, Washington and Cal.
USC Thursday offered WR Velus Jones of Saraland, AL. He currently is committed to Southern Cal.
WR Cavin Ridley of Deerfield Beach, FL will take an official visit to USC this weekend according to Gamecock Central. He’s the brother of Alabama receiver Calvin Ridley and has had Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee as his top three.
WR Dre Massey of Holmes JC, MS and Mauldin said Thursday afternoon he will not visit USC this weekend and is sticking with his commitment to Florida. Massey met with Gamecock recruiter Bobby Bentley this week and he said he also was contacted via social media and text by former USC star running back Marcus Lattimore.
USC’s Shawn Elliott met with commitments OL Pete Leota of Asheville and OL Will Putnam of Harrisburg, NC. Thursday. Both are holding to their commitments.
