2017 DB Brelin Faison-Walden of Greensboro, NC was offered Thursday by USC. 
 
Miami coach Mark Richt Thursday night had an in home visit with WR Sam Bruce of Ft. Lauderdale, a USC target. 
 
USC target DL Aaron Thompson of Ft. Lauderdale committed Thursday to Maryland. He was scheduled to visit Tennessee this weekend and USC January 29th. He visited Maryland last weekend. 
 
DE Allen Cater of Kennesaw, GA announced via Twitter he would not be visiting USC this weekend “due to certain circumstances.” Cater has visited North Carolina, Arkansas and Indiana. Arkansas coach Bret Bielema made an in home visit Thursday night. 
 
USC no longer is recruiting OL Jordan Johnson of Jacksonville. He was first recruited by USC by the Spurrier staff and the new staff picked back up on him in December. He had planned to visit USC this weekend. He has been to UCF and also has visits set with Virginia Tech, Georgia Southern and Georgia Tech. He’s a former Georgia Tech commitment. 
 
Clemson Thursday offered 2017 DB AJ Terrell of Atlanta. He also has a USC offer. 
 
2017 DE Corey Bolds of Paramus, NJ will take an unofficial visit to Clemson next weekend. He is a teammate of Rashan Gary.
 
Coaches have been flowing into Fort Dorchester High School this week to visit with OL John Simpson and some of coach Steve LaPrad’s other prospects. USC’s Shawn Elliott was in on Tuesday and Clemson’s Tony Elliott and Robbie Caldwell visited on Wednesday. LaPrad said USC, LSU and Florida are all scheduled to be in on Thursday. He said Simpson’s two scheduled official visits…Clemson this weekend and Alabama January 29th…remain as 
scheduled.
