Due to positive COVID-19 tests within our program, we have paused all team activities, and Thursday's contest vs. Wofford has been canceled.

Sadly, I don't believe this will be the last time this happens this season.   I'm also very doubtful that the SEC Tournament or the NCAA Tournament will be played.   And I would not be at all surprised if the regular season is cancelled at some point.   I wish I were more optimistic.

I can see it being "no fans allowed at the games" at the minimum by January.

I,  hope Dawn doesn't get robbed again, they should have given her the NATIONAL CHAMPOINSHIP LAST YEAR.   I mean the AP could have voted and Coaches poll  why not .

The game with Clemson has been postponed.   I think that is great for us because we need to play some more games before we take on a team as good as Clemson.

That's very much true at this point.

Clemson won the Spacecoast Challenge by beating Purdue 81-70 in the final.

Game 1: Purdue 77, Liberty 64

Game 2: Clemson 53, Mississippi State 42

Game 3: Liberty 84, Mississippi State 73

Then they beat Maryland 67-51 and Alabama 64-56 and are at #24 in the AP poll this week.

So both Clemson and Liberty have beaten two SEC teams so far.  The Liberty loss will be one of those that won't look so bad as the season wears on.

Beating Clemson would be good in more ways than one.

Back on hold with  the Men - two days after being cleared. SC State is cancelled, next up is Kentucky. Unfortunately, the lack of games has left us ill-prepared for SEC play.

Kentucky has not been all that good in the early going, but they have played more games, and against good opposition. That gives them a leg up against us.
