Gamecock season off the tracks

Sept. 22, 2019

The moments said  it all when done as the sun set on Saturday and for the most part the hopes of a winning season left in the dark of night. New University of South Carolina president Robert Caslen said it all in the moment as he walked down the sideline, with comforting slaps on the shoulder for cheerleaders and Cocky. Linebacker Ernest Jones smashed his helmet on a bench. (VIEW ARTICLE)

As the great philosopher Snoop Dogg would say:

If you scared go to church

You knew the job was tough when you took it.

There's a game to be played next week and another one after that one.

Seriously, our practices are probably great, but we have personnel management issues during the game.

That's the one overall pattern I have noticed that last few years.

So the season has not gone off the rails; a known problem is rearing it's head early in the season.

Muschamp will either give up at a certain point or find the handle and keep moving forward.

We would have a strong program for some years if he figures it out.

For better or worse he tends to wait for the trends to happen after a few games and then manage the recurring problems.

The moon is cheese.
