Well , the women fell behind last night by 18 and I thought they we're done. Just when we thought they were finished they had an great effort to come from behind, it showed their skill set and how never to give up I mean they just turned it on in the 3rd quarter and never took their foot off the gas pedal.   

Stanford looked up finally and the Ladies were within 4 then all of an sudden again the d  made the difference , Dawn never let them quit and the point guard play was outstanding in the second half.  It's not the way you want to win but hey they showed the country last night  South Carolina WBB is for real.

The team has had a tendency to come out for the 2nd half stronger than they do the 1st half. Against the tougher competition, that is - they often roll over weaker opponents to open games, but against the top 10 ranked opponents, one can see a good bit of second half adjustments and a turn up defensively. Same thing happened against Connecticut in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament - they just wore the Huskies down to a frazzle by the 4th quarter....

Although while that is great, as long as it keeps up, I wouldn't mind if the team didn't fall to 10-20 point deficits before they turn it on in the 2nd half. That is a thing that could bite the team when they least want it to....
