OFFENSE

Offensive Line Game Balls

The starting line was Tyshawn Wannamaker, Jovaughn Gwyn, Eric Douglas, Vershon Lee, and Jazston Turnetine, and they were exceptional. QB Jason Brown was sacked just once, an inconsequential fourth-quarter play where he slid in order to keep the clock running. That was the only time he hit the ground all day. The run game was dominant, picking up 284 yards and averaging seven yards per run as the line opened gaping holes. Kevin Harris (128) and Zaquandre White (111) each surpassed the century mark, the first time South Carolina had a two-backs rush for 100 yards since 2019. Nice write up other than I don’t think Dylan Wonnum played right tackle.  The Freshman Wanamaker anchored that spot. Just want to give the young man credit.

Man thanks I was up about 1 or 2 this morning falling out of my chair needing sleep lol get this all this done. Sorry for the mistake. That is why I hate late kick-offs.

Yeah, I think CSB said postgame that Wonnum might be out for the rest of the year.

All good.  I just wanted to make sure Wanamaker got credit.   He got beat off the corner some, but he was a masher in the run game.  Good to see a freshman get out there and give us a glance at the future.
