Gamecocks  lost LB commitment Jaishawn Barham Wednesday morning when he opted to sign with Maryland. Barham was among the most highly regarded commitments in the Gamecocks’ class. He announced his commitment on Saturday, but Maryland never gave up the fight with him and convinced him to stay close to home.
