South Carolina picked up another offensive piece on National Signing Day Wednesday with a public commitment from and signing of WR Debron Gatling (5-11 180) of Alpharetta, GA.
Gatling was originally a commitment to Texas A&M, but USC receivers coach Justin Stepp continued to recruit him. Gatling eventually decommitted from the Aggies. He made an official visit to USC for the weekend of the Kentucky game.
At the time he committed to Texas A&M, Gatling also had on his short list Alabama, Oklahoma, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Penn State and Tennessee.
