Gamecocks freshman tailback Kevin Harris could be a week away from returning to action

 Freshman tailback Kevin Harris was in Knoxville, Tennessee on Saturday, despite an injury that was diagnosed as season-ending when it happened. Now it appears he could be back next week. (VIEW ARTICLE)

  Dont get too excited about this info. Kevin should be a good one for sure but he has not been practicing and has been working out on a regular basis. He may see a little playing time here and there during the rest of the season but that should be about it.  He has to get into game shape in mind and body.

I see no reason to rush him back. Let him get some time in the gym and get bigger. Harris and Loyd (if we can hang on to him) could be the best RB duo in a long time at SC, no reason to screw that up up by letting him get hurt worse. 

If he is good to go, get him some snaps against App St, and maybe in garbage time, but I don't expect he will make any huge impact.
