Seth McLaughlin
OL Seth McLaughlin 6'4" 270lbs of Buford, GA has set his focus on the five of Clemson, USC, Alabama, Oklahoma and Michigan.  He has taken recent official visits to Oklahoma and Alabama and plans to get to the others again.  He’s been to Clemson and USC for games and both staffs are working him hard.

“Me and coach (Robbie) Caldwell talk a couple of times a week,” McLaughlin said. “I think they like me for interior line, either guard or center. Coach Caldwell is a great guy. He’s been coaching offensive line forever. I love coach Caldwell. Clemson football, they just won the national championship and that solidifies the fact they are a national powerhouse. I think I fit in well at Clemson. All those guys are great guys and good football players.”

McLaughlin said he will visit Clemson again in early March.  He’s also talking with USC about another visit.  A big reason the Gamecocks are on his short list is the presence of offensive line coach Eric Wolford.

“Coach Wolford and coach Muschamp text pretty me pretty often and they really want me,” he said. “I think coach Wolford is a great coach. He has that reputation of just an amazing coach and he really knows what he’s doing. That’s definite a strong point of South Carolina is coach Wolford and his experience. I think the program is going to be on the come up in the next few years.”

If he can, McLaughlin said he’d like to make his decision in a month or two, but if not, he’ll definitely get it done before his season.
