The 2019 South Carolina recruiting class jumped in the overall team rankings.
On Tuesday morning, before 4-star safety Nick Cross flipped his commitment from Florida State to a signing with Maryland, South Carolina had the No. 18-ranked class in the country, according to the 247Sports composite. The Gamecocks are now No. 17. The Seminoles are 18th.
