The 2019 South Carolina recruiting class picked up a commitment from junior college defensive lineman Jahkeem Green on Saturday.
Green, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound prospect from HighlandCommunity College, is originally from Sumter, S.C. As a freshman at Highland, Green had 49 tackles and 6 sacks.
During his junior and senior seasons at Sumter, Green had 88 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
South Carolina’s 2019 commitment class includes two other defensive lineman: 3-star end Devontae Davis, a JUCO prospect at GeorgiaMilitary College, is originally from SilverBluffHigh School in Aiken, S.C. Three-star end Rodricus Fitten, who’s from WashingtonHigh School in Atlanta, is the longest tenured commitment in the Gamecocks class.
