Long time USC commitment DB [COLOR= rgb(178, 34, 34)]Jaire Alexander [/COLOR]of Charlotte switched his commitment to Louisville Sunday at the conclusion of an official visit with the Cardinals.
The change was reported by Jody Demling of CardinalAuthority.com.
Alexander had been committed to the Gamecocks since June and last week said he didn’t think the Cardinals could turn him unless they “guaranteed me early, early playing time.”
Alexander is also a receiver and had over 70 catches this season and the said Louisville liked him as a receiver. USC recruited him originally for corner but he said Steve Spurrier Jr. wanted him on offense, too.
Alexander’s decommitment leaves the Gamecocks with 28 commitments for the 2015 class including 5 defensive backs.
