Gamecocks making changes that could ease up on injury issues

Jan. 09, 2020, | GCF Staff Report

Gamecocks staff has pinpointed a key practice change that could ease up on injury issues. New Gamecock strength coach, Paul Jackson, has a background in sprinting, and that ties into one of the things the Gamecocks staff saw go wrong last season. (VIEW ARTICLE)

Now with the coaching changes needed addressing, done and now maybe the Gamecocks can resolve the injury issue here. Maybe next season can be a fun season. Hope and fingers crossed. What you all think here?

First time I've ever heard anyone address and make complete sense about how athletes who have had injuries are more likely to get them again and why you end up pulling hamstrings and other soft tissue injuries related to sprints and training to run all out...not just run till you puke...great hire!

I hope we recruit tougher players in the future.  Seems like we have quite a few players prone to injury.  Most other teams in our conference have a lot less problems with weird injuries
