WR Ray Grier of Belmont, NC, a USC target, committed to North Carolina Saturday. He visited USC for the Tennessee game last season and was favoring the Gamecocks in late December, but Mack Brown made a strong push once he arrived in Chapel Hill. He’s the second receiver target who at one time was favoring USC but has committed elsewhere. Last week Ze’Vian Capers committed to Arkansas.
