Surprised but pleased was 4 star WR Jamil Kamara 6'2" 200lbs of Virginia Beach when he received a call from USC assistant coach Steve Spurrier, Jr. Monday afternoon. Spurrier called Kamara to extend an offer. "I didn't expect it," Kamara said. "He told me when they first looked at me they didn't have a spot at wide receiver open. He said that when that spot opened up, they wanted to offer me." Kamara, who has taken two of his official visits and has two more planned, is now considering USC as his final visit. "Coach Spurrier told me he still wanted to speak with my family so I'm going to call him back in a day or two and see what they want me to do," he said. His top four schools are Wisconsin, Michigan State, Pitt and Virginia with the possibility of USC sneaking into the picture. Kamara has taken official visits to Michigan State and Wisconsin and has scheduled his other two for Pitt and UVA. "I don't really have a favorite but Wisconsin is my leader," Kamara said. This season he has 60 receptions for 1,200 yards and 21 touchdowns.
