The team is leaving Columbia today at 11:00 to fly down to Orlando.
Once there, they are going to be practicing at a place called Celebration HS for the next 4 days. After I looked at it on maps, I really loved that pick. The team is called Celebration Storm.
They have that in their endzones.
I mean think about it. We are going to carry our Sand Storm to Storm stadium and come Tuesday, we should have a big Celebration.
I was really thinking about going, but with the game being at 3:00, it would be better to go down on Monday. And with traffic and police out on New Year's Eve night, it would be better to not try and drive back until Wed.
With the cost of a decent hotel for two nights, eating out and such, and decent tickets, I just decided not to go this time.
I will have some family and friends over at my house to watch it there instead. I will even get some Bojangles for before the game and some Cheez-its for after the game.
