Gamecocks RB commitment Marshawn Lloyd, interviewed at The Opening Finals by Kipp Adams of Georgia's 247Sports site, said Georgia remains on him hard, and he said Georgia RB coach Dell McGee told him he's not concerned with his Gamecock commitment because McGee does not believe he will stick to it.

Lloyd told Adams he remains committed to South Carolina right now "and I will see where it goes from there." Lloyd said McGee has given him a lot to think about regarding Georgia and its RBU reputation. He said he hopes to take an official

Hope this does not play out like most think from what that coach said. Will really be hard to hold on to Lloyd I fear. Does not sound like a solid commit anymore. That is what you are up against with programs with a lot of history. Gamecocks really need to get on the national scene and stay. Programs like Georgia, Bama and Clemson among others have the top prospect wanting to come really just got to show you want them with a offer there history does the rest. Maybe one day hopefully we can do the same here.
