Jakai Moore
OL Jakai Moore of Nokesville, VA remains one of the top uncommitted prospects in the country. And he’s in no hurry as he plans to take more official visits this season. He took an official to USC in late April and he plans to set a date with Clemson. Both remain high up on his list.
“I’ve been talking to South Carolina all the time. They send me stuff every day,” Moore said. “It’s the same memo, like we don’t want you, we need you. And I can come in and start early.”
Moore said he’s hearing from Will Muschamp and his offensive line coach Eric Wolford. He said he likes how they are taking the whole family approach when talking with him about his future.
“They don’t leave my mom out of anything,” he said. “If I go down there, my mom’s coming down there with me. Like when I talk to them, the first thing they told me was they are going to take care of me and my mom.”
Moore said he also plans to set official visits with Ohio State and Penn State. He’s also talking regularly with Florida, Virginia Tech and Virginia. He’s also had Miami and North Carolina on his short list.
Moore plans to sign early but he will not graduate early. He does not have a favorite at this point. He said he currently is 6-6. 287 and is being recruited for offensive tackle.
