Gamecocks put a end to the big blue nightmare, it is officially over with the win Saturday night.

Gamecocks added a punishing running game and a solid defensive performance to there arsenal in the way they defeated Kentucky 24-7 Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium, snapping a streak of five consecutive losses to the Kentucky Wildcats. (VIEW ARTICLE)

Kentucky has returned to their rightful place, far beneath us. I was really hoping we would have held onto the shutout, but I suppose a garbage time TD against our 3rd and 4th string is allowable.

I was just glad to see them get some playing time. That is huge when you have injuries and next year when some seniors leave.
