Four-star defensive end Arden Key may not be committed to South Carolina right now but South Carolina is committed to him. Hapeville Charter coach Winston Jordan confirmed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Key still has a committable offer from the Gamecocks.

"Nobody has pulled an offer or anything like that,” Jordan told Michael Carvell of the AJC. “The coaches at South Carolina are just as committed to Arden now as when he committed to them.”

Key, who has been recruited by defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward since his freshman season, first committed to the Gamecocks in June 2013 before backing off of that pledge in September of the same year. He pledged to Ward and South Carolina again on June 3, 2014 before decommitting again on Tuesday of this week.

On Wednesday morning, Key took to Twitter to say that South Carolina is still his top choice.

Key is scheduled to visit LSU next weekend and then Miami on January 19. He will visit South Carolina on Jan. 23 and has bumped Georgia for Auburn on January 30.
