Nov. 11, 2019
RB Rashad Amos of Tyrone, GA has added more major offers since picking one up from USC earlier this month after decommitting from Western Kentucky. Tennessee handed him one Monday. NC State, Colorado State and Boise State also have come aboard. Amos had earlier offers from Maryland, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina and South Alabama. As for the Gamecocks, Amos said they remain very active with him.
“Same stuff, still telling me they are very interested in me and they like my film and they want me to become a Gamecock,” Amos said. “I talk to them every day. I still think South Carolina is a good school and I still feel the same way. They had a good atmosphere when I was there.”
Amos visited USC for the Vanderbilt game and it was soon after that visit he picked up his Gamecock offer. He plans to return to USC for his official visit the second weekend in December.
Last weekend Amos attended the LSU at Alabama game but not as a recruit. He accompanied a friend who was invited by the Crimson Tide. He plans to visit Tennessee November 30th for the Vanderbilt game.
Amos is not yet naming favorites.
Honored to receive an opportunity to play at Tennessee
