I agree with you. He should be suspended for at least the rest of this year, but Oats and/or Bama's AD will look the other way as long as they can. No charges filed against him, so keep playing the best player on a team with a legitimate chance at winning a national championship.

Its a disgrace. Their coach, Oats, is one of the dirtiest coaches in the game.

NM state gets their season cancelled for hazing. These guys conspired and committed murder. Their season should be forfeited and Oats fired
 
Same kind of garbage went down with Baylor men’s basketball back in 2003. This is an NCAA rinse, wash, repeat situation.

Bama will play on and then eventually have their record blemished after the fact. Think Lance Armstrong in cycling or what will likely happen to LSU basketball from years under Will Wade.

It’s an embarrassment, but no one will own it until the courts intervene.

I always heard Oats is a shining example of the faith and preserverence of a blue collar small college player working his way from HS math teacher to D1 college coach...
