Archer High School in Lawrenceville, GA in 2018 will feature two of the most talented cornerbacks around in Andrew Booth and Jalyn Phillips.  Gamecocks have offered Booth.

Booth was on hand for the Tigers’ junior day a couple of weekends ago and got to hear more from the coaches regarding their need for him in the 2019 class.

Booth also has visited Georgia and Auburn.  He will visit USC March 3rd and the Gamecocks also are building a case for him to join them in ’19.

“Me and Coach Hutzler are very close.  I think they are loading the wagon right now trying to be the best they can be,” he said.  They like my length and how physical I am.  I can do it all, cover and stop the run.  I also return punts and kicks.”

Booth said he doesn’t have clear favorites right now.

Some of his other offers are Alabama, Auburn, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Mississippi State, and Tennessee.

Booth said he does not plan to graduate early and is not sure about signing early.  Last season he had 58 tackles and one interception.
