Poll Question of the Week: Based on what you've seen from both teams in recent weeks, what chance do you give Gamecocks in beating Auburn pick up their 6th win to become Bowl eligible Saturday at WB?

I am sick and tired of the disastrous way this athletics department is being run. The recent coaching hires and decisions regarding coaching retention make me want to vomit, lick it it up, and vomit it back out. We are not even trying by any measure to compete in the SEC. It's been going on for far too long and it needs to stop. I wish the alumni of USC would all refuse to give another dollar until every Trustee, the President, and ol' yup yup Tanner resign. Their priorities are so muddled it's almost impossible to understand how they ever got there. Again, NOBODY could even begin to defend any of the decisions they have made. Well, I suppose Joe Biden could.

I put it a 50%. Yes our team still has issues. But at least we can finally learned how to put some points on the board.

I went wit 0% as well but that is what I would have given us before the Florida game too.  I think that the Florida game was an illusion and gave us hope that we were improving but what actually seems to be the case is that the Gators are just really bad.  We can't block and we seemingly can't stop the run.  Badie ate us alive so I don't have much hope that we can contain Tank or even Nix when he decides to tuck and run.  2 games left and we'll all soon be dying for game 1 next year with hopes of something better.  GO COCKS!!!

No clue what to expect we can do against Auburn.  They just took a tough loss to Miss State.  Rumor on a Auburn forum is Nix may have fractured his foot.  They only rushed for 106 yds with Tank getting 41 yds on 16 carries.  No matter who is their QB is I'm sure they come to WB with a chip on their shoulder.

Our on line is porus.  We can't stop the run.  TO's killed us again.

I'm not going go call for firing coaches.  We don't have the players on the O line to fix regardless of coaching.  Obvious now Florida was a fluke.    I get Beamer staying positive but I can't listen to another we played ours butts off.  Maybe he means for the talent we have they played as hard as can be expected.   Recruiting now is our biggest obstacle, can we bring in some talented players.

Probably the worst thing that could happen to us Saturday is for Auburn to play the dreaded back up QB.

I voted 50% why just cannot fandom the fact we are that bad. I know better just cannot bring myself how bad we really are right now.

Things are never as good as they seem, and never as bad as they seem.

Are we as good to be Fla like drum? no. Are we as bad as some of our losses to Mizzou and UK? no. somewhere in between.

The loss to Mizzou was disappointing for sure, but no reason we can't rally and have a chance to win the last 2 games. Our instate rival rednecks have fallen from the perch and are ripe for a loss.

You are aware that our rival rednecks have scored 104 points in their last 3 games, correct?

I give them an 80%  chance-  reason Cock's are home fan's are loud defense keeps them in the ball game  at  home .

just maybe , another win Auburn is  not in an good place right now.   Our D I think plays lights out again like against Florida

it is the O. L. is  the concern for me and D must find an way to stop the run game.

I know my Italian, Irish and Native American blood get boiling and say things which I cannot take back. I am going to impose on myself 24 hour period of silence to over come my emotions down before posting on a game. Anyhow Let's not be so fast to dome Beamer especially in his first season. This truly is his first year recruiting  cycle and to be where we are he really has done a good job in recruiting.

My point is yes the Gamecocks have some areas of concern on the offensive side, Beamer cannot trash the coaches or the players while the season still in play and trying to get bowl eligible. Make know sense otherwise. After the season Beamer will evaluate both the offense and defense and he will make the right decision I feel. DL is solid need LB speed and DB. Offensive maybe a coach or 2 and some quality OL and QB help. Hopefully the portal will help in these areas.  I know Saturday night will be  a very hard one to win, but if we do Gamecocks have punched a ticket to a bowl game and heading into our rival game will Clemson at 6-5 record. Hope the Gamecocks make the best of the last two games.

GO COCKS!!

I voted 0%. I think we have a better than 0% chance, but I don't think it is as good as 50%, the next option up from 0%. More like 30-40% tops. So I chose 0%....
I went with 50% for the exact same reasons you had...but I pegged our chance at about 25%; therefore I went with the lowest available "we have a chance" option.

Box Nix is out for the season, so here comes the Heisman backup QB.  I choose 50%, but think it's 15-25%.

I voted 0%. I used to be so positive. I don't know what happened to my Garnet Glasses. I guess they broke when I threw them at the TV Saturday.

Oh God...the absolute worst thing that could happen to us. The dreaded second string, unexperienced QB coming off of the bench and being thrust into the starting role on the road. He will end up looking like a Heisman candidate and likely will win SEC offensive player of the week. I've seen this movie way too many times.

TJ Finley, their backup has beat us before while at LSU.  81% completion percentage the last time we played.  265yds.  I'm hopeful for a win but nothing would surprise me right now.
