According to the ESPN article below Texas has built a statue of their Heisman Trophy winning RB Ricky Williams, and they built it close to the statue of their other Heisman Trophy winning RB Earl Campbell. The Gamecocks are lagging way behind in doing things like this. The Gamecocks need to build a statue of Heisman Trophy winning RB George Rogers. Florida has built statues of their Heisman Trophy winning players including Coach Spurrier. When recruits come on campus for visits and games they will be able to see and learn of the Gamecocks rich tradition of excellence when they see hopefully a future statue of George Rogers, the Gamecocks first ever Heisman Trophy WINNER.
