3 star TE Jordan Davis (6-4 230) of Thomson, GA visited USC Friday morning with his head coach and left Columbia with the Gamecocks at the top of his list. "USC would be pretty hard to beat," Davis said. "I would call them my leader." Florida and Georgia are the other two schools on his list. Georgia has not yet offered. Davis said he met with several Gamecock coaches on his visit and got a good look at things. "I liked the campus, the weight room, the facilities and the academics," he said. Davis will go to a camp at Florida June 15th and one at Georgia June 16th. Despite having USC out front, Davis was not ready to make a commitment. "It's too soon to think about committing," he said. He would like to make his decision in late July or August. Last season Davis said he had between 20-30 catches with 5 or 6 touchdowns.
