Get to know 3-star RB Deshaun Fenwick

If Lavonte Valentine is the lightning for South Carolina, then Deshuan Fenwick, who checked in at 6-foot-1, 225 pounds during the summer, will provide the thunder.
Fenwick, a 3-star running back from Braden River High School (Bradenton, Fla.), committed to the Gamecocks in May over offers from Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas and USF.
This past season was his most productive campaign on the high school gridiron:

- Senior (2017): 162 carries for 1,401 yards and 14 touchdowns; 14 catches for 260 yards and 3 touchdowns.
- Junior (2016): 75 carries for 755 yards and 6 touchdowns; 15 catches for 278 yards and 4 touchdowns.
- Sophomore (2015): 98 carries for 630 yards and 9 touchdowns.
