The State's series about the final days of Muschamp as viewed through the lens of Ray's emails, texts, and phone records is pretty dang interesting reading. I don't have a subscription and have been able to read it anyway, just FYI.

I used to go to the local McD's to read The State every Saturday morning until the box was removed several years ago.

I rarely pick up a hard copy of it anymore.

Some of the interesting takeaways were how soon Ray was pondering (Ole Miss was the straw that broke the camel's back, obviously), and who else he was thinking about (all the names we heard basically)and of course just reading the actual words of Ray, the trustees, and the players was also very insightful.
