October 11, 2017
Three-star center Hank Manos, one of the first South Carolina recruiting adds for the 2018 cycle, was invited to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.
Manos, who’s ranked by the 247Sports composite as the No. 12 center in the country, announced the news on Wednesday morning.
Several South Carolina targets are also playing in the game, including 5-star defensive end K.J. Henry (West Forsyth, N.C.), 4-star cornerback Jacyee Horn (Alpharetta, Ga.) and 4-star offensive tackle Dylan Wonnum (Tucker, Ga.).
Four-star wide receiver commitment Josh Vann (Tucker, Ga.) has committed to the play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Four-star linebacker targets Dax Hollifield (Shelby, N.C.) and Channing Tindall (Columbia, S.C.) are also playing the Army bowl.
Manos (Chapin, S.C.) is listed as the No. 10 overall prospect from the state of South Carolina. He made his commitment over offers from Duke, North Carolina State and Wake Forest.
The 6-foot-4, 275-pound prospect, who’s on track to graduate in December, is one of five offensive linemen committed to South Carolina’s 2018 class. At least other linemen remain on the Gamecocks board, including Wonnum and Jovaughn Gwyn, a 3-star guard from Charlotte, N.C. who participated in The Opening earlier this year.
