Heading down the stretch in 2017

November 03, 2017

With two full months left before the first Wednesday in February, the South Carolina football team’s 2018 recruiting class has a handful of targets remaining.

The Gamecocks’ class has 18 members, though that figure doesn’t include the lone holdover from the 2017 class — defensive end Tyreek Johnson — who will arrive in January as a grayshirt.

In December, college football coaches across the country will experience the first signing period for the 2018 recruiting cycle.
