New member here, but I have been posting on boards since the AOL days, was an admin on both the old rivals and scout boards, started my own independent board (The Order of the Spur) as a refuge for folks who wanted to get away from the board wars and belligerent nonsense of the big boards, and we shuttered that site and moved it to Facebook about 4 years ago ... and now Facebook is an even bigger sewer of anger and polarity than the boards ever were! So ... here I am. I think smaller communities are more tightly knit and look forward to contributing and getting to know you fine folks. Oh, was a Carolina student from '83-'87, back in the dawn of time, lol.

Yes, was with Rusty during the glory years from Scout --> Rivals --> Gamecock Nation etc. ... didn't always see eye to eye but nobody can doubt his passion as a fan.

 
We have a couple of members from back in the old days of message boards. It's always good to see more.

 
lol back in the glory years before Gamecockcental etc. RUSTEY THE ROOSTER, DROOPERDELL who has now passed away. Got my start cutting my teeth as a mod. like what near 20 years. Begingi of the internet late 90s....

Yes! What was your screen name then? So many classic posters from those days. Trooper sent me tickets to my first Carolina game in 20 years after I had moved out West. 

 
I still have the photo of me and Ryan Brewer at one of the tailgates. Rusty brought him by to meet and greet before the game. It was the '04 Arkansas game, I believe. 

 
Yo Swayin - this is really "duff18" but tweaked the name when I moved over here after Cockytalk shuttered.  TOS days - now those were some good times! I drop in on the Rivals and 24/7 sites here and there, but everything is click bait to sign up for news 12-24 hours before it goes public anyway.  Not to denigrate those sites, just not my thing.  The TOS posse was a great group.....
