Here's some more water texture stuff. Two different vids of the battleship USS West Virginia, a Pearl Harbor survivor, in a scale model of a floating dry dock.

First one just shows the dry dock at the waterline level. The miniature keel blocks that hold a bazillion tons of ship up without crushing have always fascinated me.

Next one is the same ship that shows the dry dock fully submerged with the details of the whole dry dock visible underwater.

WW2 history books back in the 70s, 80s and 90s were always thin on pictures. You actually can learn more in these model-building videos about the ships than you can from a history book in some ways.

I believe screwdriver handles are also made of the same epoxy resin used for the diorama water.
