Holston feels he impressed Gamecocks this summer

RB Jalen Holston of Stockbridge, GA camped at USC in June and July and he feels he did well both times in front of Will Muschamp and running backs coach Bobby Bentley. He has the Gamecocks in his top group and has gotten positive feedback from Bentley.
“He tells me he wants me to be a guy and he wants me to come visit more often and try to come and commit and be a part of the family,” Holston said. “They’re telling me they are trying to get at least two backs and they want me to be that guy. They just want me to know they feel the same about me and I’m going to be their number one guy.”
Holston also visited North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Tennessee this summer and those three are in the mix with the Gamecocks. He’s planning to visit West Virginia and would also like to get to Georgia.
He’d like to make his decision this month or in September. He calls Virginia Tech his current favorite.
