How Auburn, South Carolina sell themselves to recruits

July 09, 2016

How do college football programs sell themselves to recruits?

Auburn and South Carolina have their own ways of accentuating their strengths.

Per AL.com’s Justin King, the Tigers are selling the Kick Six in the 2013 Iron Bowl and its monster video board that measures 190×57 feet, and the Gamecocks are illustrating the talent of assistant coach Bobby Bentley, who rose to fame as a high school coach in South Carolina and is now the school’s running backs coach.

So as recruits get hammered with social media messages from college coaching staffs, know that there’s still a place for love via the U.S. Postal Service.

You need to have a damn good strategy to be able to get top notch players
