The learning curve will not be that big of a deal for the new LT (Shell, IMO). Shaw is a much better overall QB than Garcia. Garcia had the physical talent to play the position, but was not invested in being a leader of any kind. He certainly could do it on the field, but couldn't lead. Leaders on this team are Shaw, Lattimore, TJ Johnson, and Ace offensively. D. Taylor, Clowney, D Jefferey, Holloman, and Swearinger defensively. Not to mention Vic Hampton's work ethic and attitude are contagious in a good way! The offense is going to struggle early, but games against Vandy and ECU and UAB should help us fix problems without being in danger of losing those games. The OL may do some shuffling, but not like in years past. The biggest question mark for me, is who is going to step up and be a receiving threat, consistently. That last word is the key! We know Ace can run and catch, we know our TE's will be a strength, we need one more wide-out who we can depend on to catch the ball in tough/tight situations. If we get that, we will be very difficult to defend.

If you want to know how our O will look in regards to utilizing multiple TE's but keeping things spread out, go watch some NFL film of the Patriots and the Saints. They both do it by having TE's close to the OL and by splitting them our in the slot (flexed). That should give you a pretty good idea. Also, Stanford has done it well the last couple of years, go see some stuff about them.

I'm not so much concerned, as I am excited. We do have some questions, BUT, I think the OL will be fine, Shell is a monster and I can't wait to see him play again (coached against him while he was in HS). The big thing is that other receiver, whether its Brent or Byrd or Moore or Roland or Jeffrey, I don't know. But, I have a feeling someone will be there to step up.
