How will the turnout be for the Gamecocks home opener

This Saturday isn’t lining up to be a great attendance week for South Carolina football.

The opponent, Charleston Southern, isn’t a big draw. add in last week lost against North Carolina makes it even worst for  attendance. Now the threat of a hurricane during the week, which will create some instability around the state. The game is at noon and projects to be a hot one. There is the benefit of it being the home opener and the curiosity of quarterback Ryan Hilinski’s first college start.  Really the only draw to the game Saturday. Question will you be one that shows and why and why not? Sound off it's hear it!!

I think the attendance will get a boost compared to what it would have been if Jake had not gotten hurt.

I have been installing security cameras in buildings without A/C this week, so I will be parked on the sofa for this one.

I will be there and go early for the Carolina Walk but bringing my sunscreen too. That A/C and my big screen sound much better.

I think Hilinski will bring out a few curious fans but I have seen way more tickets than normal for sale since Saturday. Really odd to see Zone Tickets available so I only expect about 60,000 this game.

We will be there.   Set up early in the FG to tailgate and stay the entire game.

Yeah, I was thinking 55K-60K show up. On the one hand, you get to see Hilinski's debut. On the other, you're playing a team you should crush the week after a deflating loss. I could understand either decision.

I planned on working saturday, but now it looks like I'll be spending the day cleaning up the yard. Gotta say, my interest in this season plummeted after losing to UNC.

If it wasn't on the SEC Network attendance would be higher.

I'll say 61,000.
