I was thinking exactly the same thing. He had to be talking to satterfield.I will say this though: I haven never seen Shane as pissed off all season as he was early on that game, and the way he was bellowing into his headset, it was obvious he was tearing somebody on the other end of the line a new one. And our offense was on the field ... just sayin'.
Add D to the list of needs also. We've been gashed by the RB's of most teams we played. That game was lost in the trenches. Until we recruit and develop offensive lineman we will be and up and down team. Spurrier owned Dabo for all of those years primarily due to line play. Think about who we had on the offensive line in those years and you will see we need better players up front and until we get that it does not matter what plays we call or who is playing behind center.
Both lines are soft. We may have some decent pass rushers but I never saw much of that either. They're too easily moved around on both sides. We make average RBs look great and good RBs all Americans.Add D to the list of needs also. We've been gashed by the RB's of most teams we played.
Sorry, disagree. Taking this 2-win team from rock bottom to a bowl deserves praise, regardless of how last weekend's game went. Improvement always deserves praise IMO. And no, nobody is saying we want to be a 6-win team every year. The team needs to keep getting better. Honestly we could win 6 games next year and it will still be possible for the team to have shown improvement, as well - no blowout losses, playing every team tougher, not needing miracles to beat Vandy, etc.L.S.U. fires their coaches that go 6 -6 , and less we praise ours's that is the difference everyone just thankful to be going to an bowl, well O.K. Let's see what kind of talent he comes up with we sure need some.
