I didn't expect to win that game, but ...

... ouch. At home? In front of 83,000+? And you can't score a single point?

I will say this though: I haven never seen Shane as pissed off all season as he was early on that game, and the way he was bellowing into his headset, it was obvious he was tearing somebody on the other end of the line a new one. And our offense was on the field ... just sayin'.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. He had to be talking to satterfield.

I thought our defense was good enough to get the win for us if we had the offense. This is just a strange team.

That game was lost in the trenches.  Until we recruit and develop offensive lineman we will be and up and down team.  Spurrier owned Dabo for all of those years primarily due to line play.  Think about who we had on the offensive line in those years and you will see we need better players up front and until we get that it does not matter what plays we call or who is playing behind center.  It was good to see the frustration from Beamer and I was also glad he did not kick a stupid field goal when we could have just to put points on the board.  We had enough of that under Muschamp.

It's beyond frustrating to see that offensive product on the field.  I've been in a wait and see on Satterfield all year but this was atrocious.  We need a healthy Doty at QB, an Oline coach and a new OC.  Give Brown credit for trying but he just doesn't have it.  I didn't expect a win last night because the talent gap is still too far apart but I thought with it being a home game it would be more competitive.  If this is the team that shows up in the bowl game, I won't be watching.  The results this season exceeded my expectations with wins but not offensive performance.  I expected the offense to be better than the defense and it was the other way around.

Add D to the list of needs also.  We've been gashed by the RB's of most teams we played.

A team with a half decent DLine kills us. Hope we get a good match up in the bowl.

Both lines are soft.  We may have some decent pass rushers but I never saw much of that either.  They're too easily moved around on both sides.  We make average RBs look great and good RBs all Americans.

Be honest guys here. If you compare Clemson with Georgia or A&M which in their own right are top notch teams and one most likely will be playing for a Natty at the end of the season. Clemson is that good. Clemson is the number 4 team in the rating of top players per team. So I knew we better beat Auburn sure were not going to beat Clemson. Somehow we have to start out recruiting and finding the right offense per moving on and letting go some staff on that side and  quality OL lineman and QB. Far as the season pleased that we are 6-6 and going bowling. The Clemons and Georgia down the road going to have to wait till we are hopefully will be more competitive. So happy to be 6-6 and to a bowl.  So Iam going to enjoy our bowl game and watch the play-offs knowing that Clemson is no part of it.

GO COCKS !!

Clemson has recruited at a different level for years and it shows. Their QB is horrid but their running game was unstoppable. I don't think Doty is the answer; it will either be on the shoulders of our new frosh or a portal QB. We need to hit the portal hard and keep taking steps upward. Despite the game last night, we ARE climbing upwards.

Our guys should already know what to do by now on offense.

We struggled to beat Troy 23-14 earlier in the season, but Georgia State beat them 37-10 this weekend.

I will be absolutely thrilled when Shawn Elliott gets the Game 1 upset next season.

Guys, all season up and down it's going to be really hard to find an O.C. guy with all the changes being made, with that said it starts with talent on the field, and coaching The O.L. has been terrible all year.   The scheme looks to be wrong he knows he has to make come changes but where do you go coaches are not standing in line to come here.

Hopefully some talent is in the portal on the O.L. and QB - Let's start there.

L.S.U. fires their coaches that go 6 -6 , and less we praise ours's that is the difference everyone just thankful to be going to an bowl,  well  O.K. Let's see what kind of talent he comes up with we sure need some.

Sorry, disagree. Taking this 2-win team from rock bottom to a bowl deserves praise, regardless of how last weekend's game went. Improvement always deserves praise IMO. And no, nobody is saying we want to be a 6-win team every year. The team needs to keep getting better. Honestly we could win 6 games next year and it will still be possible for the team to have shown improvement, as well - no blowout losses, playing every team tougher, not needing miracles to beat Vandy, etc.

Shane himself said at halftime theteam looked like it had abandoned everything they had worked on going into the Clemson game.

For whatever the reason, that's been a pattern with our men's athletic teams since Tanner took over.

That's why I think Tanner needs to go.
