DOJ just revealed a massive college cheating scandal which involves celebrities and others. What I found interesting is that Mark Riddell, the director of college entrance exam preparation at IMG Academy in Bradenton FL, was also charged with taking SAT and ACT exams in the place of students for money.

Will be interesting to see if the NCAA investigates all those high profile football recruits at IMG (including Xavier Thomas) who were at the school when the cheating occurred. I always wondered why those top recruits left their homes to attend IMG. Maybe now we know the answer.

Honestly though, I doubt anything regarding college football comes of this. That's not to say there isn't probably some shady shit going on there. That IMG Academy is a damn hotbed of recruits. I think I saw somewhere recently that the entire 2019 senior class would be a top 15 team in the recruiting rankings. So it would not surprise me in the least if boosters paid for football players to go there in order to bring up their SAT scores.

I Googled "SC Football" last night looking for any stories I missed. Page comes up with 3 mini pops at top all say SC Football and 2 say SC Football involved in the cheating scandal. On the right of the page is the big Wikipedia story on USC (South Carolina). The stories below speak of SC being involved in cheating.  A casual reviewer of the Google page would assume South Carolina involved in cheating.

As it turned out only the 1 mini story popup was South Carolina (nothing on cheating) and the Wikipedia article was South Carolina (nothing on cheating).

Everything else on the page was actually "Southern California" even though they only referred to them as "SC". I finally got a clue when 1 story stated no SEC schools were involved.  Looks like Google trying to smear South Carolina and cover for Southern California.

We just can't get a break!!!!!!!!!!!

The way IMG works is The Bagman will tell the uncle or parents how much they will get paid. But the money will be held somewhere down at IMG. It can be filtered from there or get paid out after the athlete graduates college.
