I love okra.
It is one of the few foods that, even battered and fried in lard, do not taste good.

Grew up eating it fried but don't really like it anymore. Probably more to do with how it's cooked and nobody makes it like my Grandma did. Pickled is about the only way I can eat it now.
They are great on the grill.
