I realize its FitsNews, but....... Jeff Capel?
His last year (4th) at VCU was his worst, finishing 5th in his conference with no post-season play.
He then leaves for Oklahoma. In his 4th year there, they go 13-18 with a 4-12 conference record. That was Oklahoma's first losing season since 1981. Their 9 game losing streak that year was the longest for Oklahoma in 41 years. In his last year at Oklahoma (his 5th), Capel goes 14-18 with a 5-11 conference record. He is fired. He leaves them also after having recruiting violations under his watch.
We need someone who is proven that he can BUILD the program and MAINTAIN it and do so the right way. We don't need someone who has proven that he is only able to win with someone elses recruits AND get us in trouble while trying to bring in his own recruits.
If it's not Marshall, please get someone with a similar track record of success. That's not Jeff Capel.
