The Canes' offense, maligned and miserable just 10 months ago, was explosive in an emphatic 47-34 win over Louisville on Saturday, with QB D'Eriq King offering fair warning to the rest of the college football world that, oh yes, Miami is indeed back. Back to intimidating opponents, back to contender status, back to being a genuine, prime-time, can't-miss attraction.

Maybe so. But let's wait for more then one 13 point win over Luisville to declare them as being back.

I hope The U is back. I hope UNC is good this year as well.

hope both beat clemson
Yep.  We're not the only ones hoping for that.

Clemson's head coach may say otherwise, but you know he is hating the Big Ten’s decision to reverse course and go ahead and play football this fall. It’s was quite obvious when he said, “The last time I checked there’s been a lot of champions come from conferences that were already playing.”

Dabo might be right that there were still going to be plenty of teams playing that would been quality champions. No team gives him nightmares like Ohio State right now, though. Ryan Day’s team pushed Clemson to the limit in the College Football Playoff semifinals in December, and should they meet again in the semis or the championship game this year, there’s a good chance the result will be different.

Now that Ohio State is allowed to play college football this year, the clock has started ticking for Dabo. You can sense the fear all the way from Columbus and all around Buckeye Nation. Justin Fields and company have unfinished business and their motivation is going to be off the charts.

Tick tock, Dabo. Tick tock.

Nope.  Clemson was toying with them in that game.  That screen pass where none of the lineman moved was just their way of saying "not even close" .  Man I cannot stand the tigers, but I also cannot stand Miami.

They got whacked by UNC 62-26 today.

So, no, they ain't back.  LOL

Mack Brown has quietly done a great job at UNC.
