I hope so because i have not been impressed. Maybe one more year but i havn't seen any progression on the line. 30+ sacks 3 years in a row and we aren't even recruiting the caliber of players we are going after(our recruitinfg is a whole 'nother issue). Hopefully this is the year is the year we can tighten upthat line, if not Elliot should feel the pressure.

I doubt he'd be fired this year, unless the run game sucks too. However, there needs to be a solid improvement in the OL for TFL's/Sacks allowed in order for him to secure a long term future at USC.
He's a great recruiter, players like him, other coaches want him (Saban), and he is a good run game coordinator, but he now has 4 returning starters and the most depth at OL that we've had during Spurrier's tenure. All the pieces are there for him to succeed, now he just has to do it.
