DB Javon Jackson of Tyrone, GA remains up in the air between USC and Duke as of Tuesday night. Jackson has been in t
ouch with the recruiters from both schools in the last couple of days. He said he could have a decision Wednesday but that’s not 100% certain. He is sure he will have his decision by Friday. There is no leader.
OL John Simpson of Fort Dorchester has been focused on his season with the opener coming up Friday against South Florence. He has been communicating with schools via Twitter and those would include USC, Clemson, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and LSU. He has not scheduled any official visits and he’s not sure about all of them but he said USC and Clemson most likely will get one. Simpson said he wants to take all of his official visits and he has no favorite right now. As for going to games, he said his grandfather wants to go back to Tennessee and his mom wants to go back to Clemson.
South Pointe DB Nick McCloud has not added any new offers to his list recently. He has official offers from Kansas State, Appalachian State, Northwestern, East Carolina, Marshall, Miami of Ohio, Eastern Michigan, Coastal Carolina and others. He’s not had any recent contact from USC and Clemson. McCloud has not set any official visits but plans to set three with Kansas State, Northwestern and East Carolina. He said Appalachian State, Kansas State and Northwestern are recruiting him the hardest. He does not have a favorite.
