Is odd to see there isn't any discussion on here concerning the past few days involving his recruitment. I feel that something is definitely amiss. Anyone think LSU is still on the table for him?

Most of the talk is in chat box top of site. That is what we are discussing. Glad to see a member post a thread about it. Now to LSU. Defiantly still in the Burch sweepstakes. But coach O saying only 3 scholarships left to use them on transfer. So hold on just maybe all of us will hopefully see this process end sooner then later.

"Following the event, the 6-foot-5, 275 pounder signed his national letter of intent with South Carolina, but it was not faxed over to the university. I am told Burch is 100 percent sure of his decision and fully plans to attend South Carolina. However, his mother has not given her permission for the NLI to be sent over to the Gamecocks. It is unclear if or when she will grant that permission. I am also told his mom is on board with him attending South Carolina, so her reason for not allowing the letter to be sent is unclear. I will continue tracking this as best I can throughout the day and going forward, if needed."

Thanks for the article and the chat box tip! Ive never accessed this site in desktop mode and didn't see the chat box until I did... I'll be sure to jump in there now on from time to time.

Glad you brought it up. Would love to see more posting in the forums.

All this drama surrounding the commitment and signing of a recruit has made this a lose - lose situation for South Carolina.  If he goes somewhere else, it is a massive slap in the face to our program and to CWM, and, if he does sign and come here, we have an extremely high maintenance situation to deal with, whether it be Jordan or his mama.  Not sure he is really worth all the fuss.

Let me reassure that he is worth all the fuss and what you are saying is pure assumption! From all accounts he is a very quite, reserved and hard working young man that is extremely coachable and willing to do anything for his team to win on and off the court!

I'd be curious to know what the holdout was about. But given that he likes to stay media quiet, I doubt we ever will
After we got his LOI, lots of changes taking place in the staff ranks, including losing the DL Coach John Scott to Penn State. Could be the reason why there was a delay in the LOI being submitted, was there were a lot of discussions behind the scenes between Coach Muschamp and the Burch family, about who would actually coach Jordan while at USC. Also remember, LSU also lost a lot of their coaching staff as well, so even if the Burch family was entertaining choosing LSU, they were probably concerned about what kind of staff they would be choosing. I haven't read anything about it since Jordan sent in his official LOI, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if all the delay drama at the end was over the staff changes at USC....

I agree, makes a lot more since given how things have played out 👍

According to JC podcast and another media guy, his mother just wanted to send in the LOI in her time not on any one else’s schedule.  Mom seems a little different and has avoided media at all cost.  I’m guessing she did it as her last power move and F you to the media.

If reports are correct today, he is going to be a large Buck for the GAMECOCKS, someone with his size and speed having the ability to roam around and make plays should excite everyone
