Seems like Shane is looking to do just what Lou and SOS did when they started - fill immediate depth needs with JUCO players, which makes a lot of sense to me. I think about players like the Brinkley Twins, Cleveland Pinkney, Corey Alexander, Clifton Geathers, Ladi Ajiboye, etc ... they made huge differences to fill roles from day 1. Of course, we also have the added wrinkle of the transfer portal now as well.
