3 star Junior two-sport star WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside 6'3" 200 of Dorman already has a couple of offers and is hearing from Clemson, USC, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Florida State, Georgia Tech and SC State among others. Appalachian State and Elon have offered. Arcega-Whiteside is also hearing from Clemson and Georgia in basketball but does not have any offers to date. Though football seems like his likely path to college athletics, Arcega-Whiteside does not want to rule anything out. "I want to remain open-minded," he said. "I'll play whatever (sport)." He is showing interest in USC and Clemson and has attended games at each school. "I was at Clemson for the Florida State game," Arcega-Whiteside said. "It was a crazy atmosphere. I really like the campus and the way they throw the ball a lot. USC is about the same. It's a crazy atmosphere and they like to throw the ball." North Carolina is another school he has visited and the Tar Heels are showing a lot of interest. "I think they're recruiting me the hardest," he said. "I think they'll be the first to offer. I like the coaches there. They really look out for their players." USC, Clemson, North Carolina and Notre Dame are the schools he says contact him the most. This season, Arcega-Whiteside had 75 receptions for over 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns. He does not have a favorite.
