Jupiter

Its gotta rain sometime.
I used to stargaze in the Summer, get bit by mosquitoes, etc.  I really enjoy the Winter viewing better (no bugs)

Someday when I get back to Michigan, I'm going to go through my mom's basement and get my dad's old telescope.

That thing was really nice and I remember I one saw Saturn through that thing.

I'm sure it would give some great views of Jupiter (plus moons!) also, as well as the most common stellar planet: Venus.

I sold two telescopes of mine (Tasco refractors) and gave my binoculars (Jason 7x35) to my dad...

I have no idea what brand the telescope was that my dad had.  All I remember was that you had to put it together, and that all the components were stored in their own separate wooden case (which when I was a kid signified that the thing was super important).

I know he also had a ton of top of the line Nikkon lenses that my mom practically gave away to one of his best friends.  I should have gotten those things and sold them, I might not be in debt right now if I had.
