Game 1: Will new SC pitchers who haven't had to throw much in this year's postseason be able to handle an Arizona team that has been hitting the cover off the ball?
Game 2: Will an Arizona team that has been hitting the cover off the ball be able to handle one of the greatest pitchers in CWS history (Michael Roth - for those of you who haven't been paying attention)?
Game 3 (if necessary): Will the newest SC pitching star (Jordan Montgomery) be able to reprise the amazing performance he had last week against Arkansas, but this time under even bigger pressure with the national championship on the line?
Another side plot for all 3 games: how will SC batters perform?
This is a classic strength vs. strength match-up, SC hitting vs. AZ hitting, but I hate that our pitching isn't lined up perfectly for game one- that has SC with one hand tied behind their backs for game one.
